A restaurant marketing agency with the prices in view

GastroSEO is a Madrid-based restaurant marketing agency that works remotely across Spain. We focus on local SEO, web design, branding and visibility in AI for restaurants, hotels, bars and other hospitality businesses. We publish every price, with no lock-in, and the client owns the domain and the website.

If you want the principles and the ecosystem we are part of, they are on About. This page is the other half: what you hire, how the work runs and what it costs.

What you can check before you call

01

Public, fixed prices: you know what each service costs before you write.

02

No lock-in on any monthly service: you can cancel whenever you want.

03

An open portfolio: every published site can be opened and checked.

04

Hospitality specialists: it is the sector of all our recurring work, and the portfolio is shown in full, including group projects in other sectors built with the same method.

05

Custom websites at a fixed price: Astro if we start from zero; if you already have WordPress or Wix, we improve it inside the Basic plan or rebuild it on the same plans.

06

GEO services so you show up in ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews, not only on Google.

How the work runs with us

It starts with a diagnosis at a fixed price and continues with the services you need, with no compulsory package and no lock-in.

01
Local SEO Audit Pro

We start with a diagnosis of your site, your Google listing and your local competitors. It costs 290 € and is credited in full if you hire the Basic plan within 30 days.

02
Action plan and hire

You choose the services you need: local SEO, web design, branding, GEO or copywriting. All of them at a fixed price, with no lock-in.

03
The work

We work remotely from Madrid: we improve your listing, build your site, or strengthen your presence in search and in AI.

04
A monthly report on recurring services

If you hire local SEO or Google Business Pro, each month you get a report with rankings, traffic and conversions, and we adjust the plan from the data. On one-off projects, the close is delivery and a walkthrough.

Everything we do, with its price

Prices without VAT, public and fixed. Monthly services have no lock-in and the client always owns the domain, the hosting and the brand files. Photography is not included in any plan: we do art direction and editing, and the shoot is hired separately.

Web design with its own figures in five cities

Girona, Ourense, Ferrol, Santiago de Compostela and San Sebastián have a web-design page with published hospitality figures. The directory does not give CNAE 56 for the municipality: the figure is the province’s.

Ferrol had 64.367 inhabitants and 3.127 active companies on 1 January 2025. The published food and drink premises are those of the province of A Coruña: 7.067 (INE, DIRCE). The detail is in restaurant SEO in Ferrol.

Fuerteventura received 2,38 million tourists in 2023, with 29,8 % of that island’s market from Germany. The directory does not split the island: the province of Las Palmas counts 7.292 CNAE 56 premises on 1 January 2025. The detail is in restaurant SEO in Fuerteventura.

What restaurant marketing is, and what it includes

Restaurant marketing is the set of communication, ranking and sales work applied to food and drink businesses: restaurants, bars, hotels, catering, gourmet shops. It is not limited to posting on social media. It includes local SEO, web design, branding, review management and visibility in search and in AI.

An agency specialised in this sector understands hospitality: bookings, the menu as a conversion tool, local competition on Google Maps, and seasonality. Restaurant marketing is not a generic service bent to fit. It is a discipline with its own channels and metrics.

In all of our services we start from that: attract people who are already looking for where to eat, drink or celebrate, and do not interrupt people who have not shown interest.

What a restaurant marketing agency like GastroSEO does

At GastroSEO we cover the pieces that do the most to bring customers into hospitality: local SEO, web design, branding, GEO and copywriting. Every service has a public price and can be hired on its own or in a bundle, with no lock-in.

The full table, with the price of each service and the link to its page, is in the Services and prices section of this page. Hospitality copywriting is part of the Basic plan or of the Website + full hospitality bundle; you can also see how we write menu and website copy.

Every monthly service has no lock-in, and the client owns the domain, the hosting and the brand files. Photography is not included in any plan: we do art direction and editing, and the shoot is hired separately.

Restaurant marketing, hospitality SEO and web design: how they differ, and which to hire if you only need one

They are three services with different scopes. Restaurant marketing is the strategic umbrella. Hospitality SEO is the optimisation to show up on Google and Maps. Web design is building your page. You can hire only one, without a full plan.

If you only need a new website, hire web design for restaurants. If the site works but people cannot find you on Google, hire local SEO. If you want the pieces coordinated, start with the Local SEO Audit Pro.

What a restaurant marketing agency costs

Our prices are public and fixed: an audit is 290 €, local SEO is 350 €/month, a website from 890 €, branding from 1,290 € and GEO from 490 €. There is no custom quote and no surprise.

We publish the prices because almost nobody does. When we looked, in September 2026, at Google results for "agencia marketing gastronómico", none of the top three agencies published prices or a fee range: all three sent you to a diagnosis or a custom quote. Branding is the same: of 23 hospitality branding studios and agencies we reviewed that month, only 3 published any price on their site.

As an outside reference, Google's AI Overview for "cuánto cuesta una página web para un restaurante", checked in September 2026, puts a professional site by an agency or a freelancer between 1,200 and 4,000 € as a one-off, a basic or template site between 300 and 800 €, and all-in subscriptions between 30 and 100 € a month. Our Essential website (890 €) sits below that professional range, and the Professional (1,490 €) sits inside it, with a custom-built site in both cases.

For branding, the reference is the average day rate Malt published in 2026 for a freelance art director in Spain: 219 € a day. Our Essential brand plan is 1,290 € and includes the logo, colours, a basic guide and digital applications; the higher plans add naming, the menu and packaging.

How to choose a marketing agency for your restaurant: questions worth asking before you sign

Before you hire, ask about a real hospitality specialism, whether they publish prices, whether the portfolio is open, whether there is a lock-in, who owns the domain, and which metrics they report each month.

  • Is hospitality their specialism, or one sector among others? A generalist agency may not know Google Maps, reviews or bookings.
  • Do they publish their prices? If they do not, it is hard to compare and to budget. We publish every price on our services page.
  • Can I see the portfolio without asking permission? Our portfolio is open and every site can be opened.
  • Is there a lock-in? Every monthly service of ours has none.
  • Who owns the domain and the website? The client should. At GastroSEO, you own everything.
  • What reports do I get each month? You should get rankings, traffic and conversions, not only a list of tasks.

Read our principles before you decide.

Local SEO and the Google Business Profile: the base before any campaign

When someone searches "restaurant in [their neighbourhood]" or "where to eat nearby", Google shows a local pack: the three business listings it considers most relevant, before any website. That is why, before you spend on ads, social or branding, your Google Business Profile has to be complete and optimised. It is the door local search comes through.

A restaurant owner and a consultant review the map and the venue metrics on a laptop during a meeting

Local SEO is not only keywords. It means managing reviews, publishing real photos, replying to customers and keeping the attributes up to date. Our Basic local SEO plan (350 €/month) covers the listing, local keywords and a monthly check. If you would rather hand over the whole listing, Google Business Pro (650 €/month) includes weekly posts and professional review replies.

To see how it works, read our guide to ranking a restaurant on Google Maps and what local SEO for restaurants is.

Published work: projects you can open right now

We do not hide the work: the portfolio is open and every published project can be opened and checked. Four representative projects, described only by what you can see on each site: Almorratxa, a restaurant and beach club in Port d'Arenys de Mar, with a Catalan/Spanish site and table booking; Valerio Burger Club, a chef-led burger restaurant with a menu, delivery, a blog and a customer club; Stillroom, a gastro cocktail bar in Los Jerónimos (Madrid) with a bilingual site, four menus, TheFork booking and event catering; and María Lluch Catering, whose rebuild is in progress. The cards with screenshots are further down and in the portfolio.

Restaurant marketing by type of business

Each kind of food business needs different things: a hotel needs a booking engine, a burger restaurant needs delivery, a rural house needs more than one language. That is why we offer specific web-design verticals and SEO hubs by type of business.

On SEO by type of hospitality business you will also find pages for pizzerias, gastrobars, dark kitchens and more.

Common mistakes when hiring marketing for hospitality

These are the mistakes that cost the most when hiring marketing for hospitality: hiring without knowing the price, choosing an agency that does not know the sector, not owning the domain, ignoring the Google listing, measuring only followers, and expecting results overnight.

  • Hiring without a fixed price: if the agency does not publish fees, you can end up paying more for services you do not need. Ask for public prices or a detailed quote before you sign.
  • Choosing an agency that does not know the sector: the local pack, reviews, bookings and the menu have their own rules. Whoever does not know them learns them with your money.
  • Not owning the domain: if the agency registers the domain in its name, you lose the site when you change provider. At GastroSEO the client is always the owner.
  • Ignoring the Google Business Profile: it is the first point of contact for local search. Without it, you lose people who are already looking for your kind of food.
  • Measuring only social followers: followers do not pay the bills. What matters is bookings, calls, visits to the site and orders.
  • Expecting results overnight: local SEO and visibility on Google take weeks or months. Be wary of anyone who promises rankings in days.

From the same group come the consultancy ChefBusiness and the kitchen AI tools of AI Chef Pro, which are also in the portfolio because they were built with the same method.

Frequently asked questions about hiring a restaurant marketing agency

What is restaurant marketing?

Restaurant marketing is the set of communication, ranking and sales work applied to food and drink businesses. It includes local SEO, web design, branding, review management, social and visibility in search and in AI. The aim is to attract people who are already looking for where to eat or drink, not to interrupt people who have not shown interest. A specialist agency understands the trade: bookings, menus, local competition and seasonality.

What does a restaurant marketing agency charge?

At GastroSEO the prices are fixed and public: a Local SEO Audit Pro is 290 €, local SEO is 350 €/month, a website from 890 €, branding from 1,290 € and GEO from 490 €. There is no custom quote and no surprise. When we looked at Google results for "agencia marketing gastronómico" in September 2026, none of the top three agencies published prices, which makes comparison hard. We prefer the prices on the page.

What does a hospitality SEO agency cost?

Our Basic local SEO plan for hospitality is 350 €/month, with no lock-in. It includes optimisation of the Google Business Profile, local keywords, local content, and a monthly report of rankings, traffic and conversions. If you want the listing fully managed, Google Business Pro is 650 €/month. Both can be cancelled whenever you want, and the client owns every asset.

How do you choose a marketing agency for a restaurant?

Do not look for a third-party ranking. Look for things you can check: a real hospitality specialism, public prices, an open portfolio, no lock-in, ownership of the domain and the hosting, and monthly reports with business metrics (bookings, calls, visits). Ask whether they only work in hospitality or whether it is one sector among many. At GastroSEO those points hold: fixed prices, an open portfolio and no lock-in.

What is the difference between restaurant marketing, local SEO and web design?

Restaurant marketing is the strategic umbrella that coordinates the work. Local SEO is the optimisation to show up on Google and Maps, centred on the business listing, keywords and reviews. Web design is building the page: structure, menu, bookings and languages. You can hire only one. If the site works but people cannot find you, hire local SEO. If the site is old, hire web design. You do not need a full plan if only one piece is missing.

Do I need a hospitality specialist, or will a generalist agency do?

Hospitality has details a generalist agency usually skips: the Google local pack, reviews, online bookings, the menu as a conversion tool, and seasonality. A specialist already knows these channels and does not learn them on your time. At GastroSEO hospitality is the specialism and the sector of all our recurring work, so every plan starts from a real knowledge of the business.

How long until a restaurant marketing agency shows results?

It depends on the service and on where you start. A new website can be published in 2–4 weeks. For local SEO and GEO we do not promise a date: organic rankings build up, and they depend on your competitors and on your listing. What you do get is a monthly report with rankings, traffic and conversions, so you can see the real movement. Be wary of anyone who promises results in days.

Do you work with restaurants across Spain, or only in Madrid?

We work remotely from Madrid for the whole of Spain. We do not need to be in your city to improve your Google listing, build your website or run your local SEO. The portfolio includes work in Madrid, the province of Barcelona, Alicante and Santo Domingo. We talk by video call, email and phone, and every deliverable is shared digitally. The client owns everything, wherever they are.
