Branding for restaurants: corporate identity applied to the website, the menu and Google
Branding for restaurants with a logo, a brand guide, a menu and packaging. From 1.290 €, delivery in 3-12 weeks and a one-off payment.
The real challenge of branding and corporate identity for restaurants and hospitality
Restaurant branding is the visual and verbal system that makes a venue recognisable on the street, on Google and on Instagram. At GastroSEO you hire it as a fixed-price service: logo, brand guide, menu and applications from 1.290 €, with delivery from 3-4 weeks. We do not sell templates: we design an identity meant to fill tables, and we apply it without friction to the website, the digital menu and the Google listing.
What you get
A brand applied from day one to the website, the digital menu, the Google Business listing and social media.
A brand guide with rules for the QR menu, Instagram/TikTok templates and the photographic style of the dish.
Naming with a domain and social check, and a prior search at the OEPM.
Delivery and takeaway packaging built into the graphic system, not treated as an industrial add-on.
Rebranding with a transition plan so you do not close or lose reviews.
A public price up front, and vector files that are 100% yours.
How we work
The same method on every hospitality project. Clear milestones and a deliverable at each stage.
We analyse the venue, the menu, the competition, the audience and the assets that already exist before we draw anything.
We define positioning, tone, references and, when it applies, naming with an availability check.
We present proposals, apply rounds of changes and build the system, the guide and the applications.
We deliver the guide and the files, and we apply the brand to the website, the Google listing, the digital menu and social media, with support according to the plan.
Who this service is for
What restaurant branding is
Restaurant branding is the visual and verbal system that makes a business recognisable at a glance on the street, on the digital menu and on a phone. It includes the logo, the palette, the typefaces, the tone of voice and the applications: it is not only a drawing, it is the promise you make before the first dish is served.
A restaurant identity rests on four elements: the name, the logo and graphic system, the verbal voice, and the brand experience in the venue and on screen. When choosing a logo it helps to think about real cases: a sign must be readable at 10 metres, a napkin must print well in a single colour, and an avatar must work at 40 px. That is why we work with the four types: wordmark, symbol, combination mark and integrated logo, and we choose the one that works best for each format.
A restaurant logo made from a template can solve an emergency, but it does not build a system: you need vector files, positive and negative versions, a colour criterion and rules of use so the investment is not lost at the first printer.

- Name and verbal territory: how you speak and how people remember you.
- Logo and graphic system: variants, colours, typefaces, icons.
- Tone of voice: the words you use on the menu, the website and social media.
- Experience: the venue, the packaging, the finishes and digital consistency.
Why a hospitality brand now starts on the screen
In hospitality, the brand starts on Google and on Instagram, not on the napkin: a customer looking for a restaurant nearby sees the Google listing, the photos, the avatar and the website first, before deciding whether to book. A consistent identity across the listing, the digital menu and social media multiplies trust and reduces friction.
A restaurant corporate identity is only complete if it defines how the brand looks in a 40 px avatar, on the Google Business Profile cover, in a booking-app icon and in a stories template. If your logo does not work in these formats, you are losing the first impression. At GastroSEO this is built in: we apply the brand on the Google Business Profile listing, on the digital menu and on the website, and we make sure the visual identity does not break between channels.
We also work on consistency with local ranking and visibility in AI: a business with a clear brand and an optimised listing shows up better in local SEO searches and in answers from ChatGPT or Perplexity.
What restaurant branding includes, level by level
Restaurant branding can run from a logo with a basic guide to a full system with naming, packaging and a guide applied to the menu. At GastroSEO we split it into three plans: Essential Brand, Professional Brand and Gastro Integral Brand, priced at 1.290 €, 2.990 € and 4.490 €.
The Essential plan gives you a solid opening; the Professional plan adds strategy and applications so you can compete in your area; the Integral plan covers a full launch or rebrand. All of them include the decisions of real use: sign, napkin, avatar, digital menu and Google listing.
Essential Brand
To open with a solid image or replace a template logo: a logo with variants, a palette, typefaces, a basic guide, an avatar and a cover for Google and Instagram, an email signature and a business card.
Professional Brand
For a business competing in the area with a strong menu that wants a brand that does not look homemade: strategy, naming when it applies, a graphic system, an advanced guide, menu design and social templates.
Gastro Integral Brand
For full openings or rebrands: naming with a prior OEPM search, signage, delivery packaging, full menus, uniforms and art direction.
No plan includes printing or physical production costs, advertising spend, trademark registration fees, typeface or stock-photography licences, or a photo shoot: those are quoted separately.
What restaurant branding costs in Spain (2026): a market table
Restaurant branding in Spain costs between 500 € and 15.000 € depending on scope, according to price guides from Spanish design studios published in 2026. A standalone logo made with AI or a template costs 20-100 €; a full identity with a guide sits between 1.500-5.000 €; integral branding with packaging can go above 10.000 €.
Our plans start at 1.290 €, but they do not compete with Canva or with free generators: they compete with studios, with the difference of a single supplier that delivers the brand already applied to the website, Google and the menu. To understand the real cost, we use as a reference the average day rate of a freelance art director in Spain: 219 € a day according to the Malt Spain 2026 rate barometer.
| Piece or service | Price range | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Standalone logo made with AI or a template | 20-100 € | A single logo with no variants, no guide and no vector files. |
| Basic freelance logo | 150-500 € | 1-2 proposals, limited changes, basic files. |
| Professional studio logo | 1.500-5.000 € | Research, variants, presentation, rights. |
| Basic identity | 500-1.500 € | Logo, variants, palette, typefaces, a short guide. |
| Full identity with a brand guide | 1.500-5.000 € | System, applications, brand guide. |
| Integral branding with strategy and packaging | 3.000-15.000 € | Strategy, packaging, signage, applications. |
| Brand guide as a standalone piece | 600-6.000 € | Rules of use, digital version or PDF. |
| Standalone menu design at printers and from templates | 20-120 € | 1 proposal, 1 change, no brand system. |
Typical industry timelines run from 4 to 10 weeks for the essential work and from 90 to 120 days for the integral work. Our timelines are 3-4, 6-8 and 10-12 weeks depending on the plan.
The brand guide that actually gets used: what it has to contain
A brand guide for a restaurant has to contain much more than the stationery: it must set rules for the digital menu and the QR code, the Google Business listing, the Instagram/TikTok templates and the photographic style of the dish. If the guide only regulates the business card, it does not serve what generates bookings today.
Besides the obvious — logo, colour, typefaces, clear space, correct and incorrect uses — a guide that is useful for hospitality includes:
- Rules for the digital menu and the QR code: hierarchy, readable prices, photos and a printable version.
- Google listing: logo, cover, gallery and post templates.
- Templates for Instagram and TikTok: covers, stories, event flyers.
- Photographic style of the dish: light, framing, props and editing so the brand stays intact.
- Basic stationery: card, envelope and sheet when the plan includes them.

If you also need copy with its own tone for the menu and the website, we write it consistently through gastronomic copywriting.
Brand and website at the same time: why commission them from the same team
Commissioning the brand and the website from the same team avoids the classic hospitality problem: a handsome logo that does not adapt to the digital menu, a website that does not respect the approved colours, or a Google listing still showing old versions. At GastroSEO the brand is born already applied to the web design and to the local assets.
If you are about to open or to refresh, you have three bundles at a fixed price. All three are hired as a joint project and are set out on the web design for restaurants page.
- Brand + Professional Website: Essential Brand + Professional Website (worth 2.780 €) for 2.490 €.
- Brand + Website + Local Launch: Professional Brand + Professional Website + Local SEO Audit Pro + 3 months of Local SEO (worth 5.820 €) for 5.190 €.
- Turnkey digital opening: Gastro Integral Brand + Gastro Premium Website + 3 months of Local SEO + GEO Starter (worth 8.520 €) for 7.490 €.
If you do not need a website now, the identity is still prepared: the guide sets the basis for applying it with no hidden costs when you launch.
The three brand-and-website bundles are hired from this page or from the bundles on the web design service, where the website-only and SEO packages are listed as well.
Rebranding without closing the venue: a transition plan
Rebranding a restaurant without closing is possible if it is sequenced in phases: first update the digital assets people see most — the Google listing, the website and the social profiles — then the digital menu and the print run, and last the street sign and the interior signage. The aim is to keep bookings flowing and to keep the reviews.
A realistic transition plan includes:
- Keep the same Google listing and update the logo, cover and gallery from the dashboard; do not create a new listing.
- Keep the URL and redirect pages properly if the website changes name.
- Use up the stock of printed menus with a cover wrap or a stamp before sending a new run to the printer.
- Prioritise the change on Google and social media, not on the venue sign, if the budget is limited.
- Have an interim guide so the new logo and the old one can coexist for a few weeks.
On the Professional and Integral plans this transition is already covered in the guide and in the support.
Naming and registration: how we choose a name you can actually use
Choosing a restaurant name is not only about how it sounds: the domain and the social accounts have to be free, and then a prior search at the OEPM has to be done before the trademark is registered. At GastroSEO, naming is only hired inside the Professional and Integral plans; the official registration fee is separate.
We work like this: first we define the verbal territory from the positioning; second we generate options; third we check the .es domain, Instagram, TikTok and run a first search for similar trademarks. We do not deliver a name that cannot be used digitally.
This avoids the typical scenario of designing a beautiful logo for a name that already has a registered trademark, or a domain that is already registered or is on sale at a reseller price.
How we work: 6 phases, proposals and rounds, timelines, what we need from you
Our branding process for hospitality runs in six phases and is hired as a closed plan: you send the information about the venue, we return proposals, we apply the changes and we deliver the whole system. We do not work with open-ended quotes, and we do not charge by the hour on these plans.
The six phases are: brief and diagnosis; strategy and brand territory; proposal design; graphic system and applications; brand guide; and delivery with activation. On Essential Brand there are 2 proposals and 2 rounds; on Professional, 3 and 3; on Integral, 5 and 4.
What we need from you: current photos of the venue, the current menu if one exists, your nearby competitors, the audience you want to attract, and an idea of budget and timelines. That is enough to start. You can see the visual standard in the portfolio of published websites and, if it fits, ask for a quote via the contact page.
Choose the plan that fits your restaurant or other hospitality business
Three clear options, by the size and ambition of the business. They fit restaurants, pastry shops, bakeries, gourmet shops, food trucks, dark kitchens, catering, cooking schools and any other food business. Every plan includes a fully responsive design and direct support.
To open with a solid image or replace a logo made from a template. It includes the logo, the colours, a basic guide and digital applications.
To compete with a documented brand applied to the menu, the Google listing and social media. It includes strategy, a graphic system and an advanced guide.
For full openings or rebrands. It includes OEPM naming, signage, packaging, full menus and art direction.
Brand and website, at the same time
The brand is born already applied to the website, the digital menu, the Google listing and social channels, with one team and one calendar. The months of local SEO have no lock-in.
To open or relaunch with the brand and the website made by the same team: the logo is born already applied to the website, the digital menu and the Google listing.
A brand with strategy, a professional website and three months of local SEO so the launch shows up on Google and on Maps.
For openings and groups: integral branding, a premium multilingual website, local SEO and visibility in AI assistants from day one.
Common questions about branding and corporate identity for restaurants and hospitality
How much does restaurant branding cost?
At GastroSEO, the public plans run from 1.290 € to 4.490 € as a one-off payment, excluding VAT: Essential Brand (1.290 €), Professional Brand (2.990 €) and Gastro Integral Brand (4.490 €). The Spanish market in 2026 places a professional studio logo between 1.500 and 5.000 €, a full identity with a guide between 1.500 and 5.000 €, and integral branding with packaging between 3.000 and 15.000 €.
What does a branding project include?
It depends on the plan. The Essential plan includes a logo with variants, a palette, typefaces, a basic guide, an avatar and a cover for Google and Instagram, an email signature and a business card. The Professional plan adds strategy, naming when it applies, a graphic system, an advanced guide, menu design and templates. The Integral plan includes signage, packaging, full menus, uniforms and art direction. It does not include printing, advertising, registration fees, licences or photography.
What are the 4 types of logo?
The four basic types are the wordmark, the symbol, the combination mark and the integrated logo. The wordmark is the name drawn in its own typography; the symbol is a mark with no text; the combination mark pairs text and symbol as separate pieces; and the integrated logo fuses them into a single piece. For restaurants we choose according to use: the sign needs to be read quickly, the napkin needs a single colour, and the Google avatar needs to stay legible at 40 pixels.
What is a restaurant identity?
It is the set of name, logo, colours, typography, voice and experience that makes a venue recognisable and memorable. It also includes the menu, the venue, the website and the Google listing. In practice, it is what the customer perceives before tasting the food. A restaurant corporate identity, well executed, reduces the sense of risk and helps justify the price of the menu.
What does a brand guide have to contain?
A brand guide for hospitality must contain the logo and its variants, the colour palette, the typefaces, the clear space and the incorrect uses. It also has to set rules for the digital menu and the QR code, the Google Business listing, the Instagram/TikTok templates and the photographic style of the dish. If it only regulates the stationery, it does not cover the points where a restaurant wins or loses bookings today.
How much does a logo cost in Spain?
According to price guides from Spanish design studios published in 2026, a standalone logo made with AI or a template costs between 20 and 100 €; a basic freelance logo costs between 150 and 500 €; and a professional studio logo costs between 1.500 and 5.000 €. At GastroSEO we do not sell standalone logos: the logo is part of a system with a guide, variants and applications from 1.290 €.
What should a restaurant menu include?
A restaurant menu must be legible, ordered by hierarchy and consistent with the brand. It needs the dish name, a short description, a visible price and an allergen note. It also has to work as a digital menu and as a QR menu, not only on paper. On our Professional and Integral plans we design it ready for print and for the digital menu, so you do not have to rebuild it when prices or dishes change.
Where can I design my logo for free?
You can use Canva or automatic generators for an emergency, but they do not include professional variants, vector files or a usage guide. Those logos usually fail on a sign, a napkin or a Google avatar. Our recommendation is to treat the logo as part of the brand system: at GastroSEO we do not compete with templates, and we deliver an identity you can apply from 1.290 €.
